Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accountant for a growing manufacturing organization. This role will focus on inventory accounting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing accounting background and experience supporting complex inventory and costing environments.

$85,000-$100,000

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
• Oversee inventory valuation, WIP, finished goods, and cost of goods sold reporting.
• Perform cost accounting activities including standard costing, variance analysis, labor, and overhead allocations.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support financial reporting and accounting for multiple entities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing and inventory variances and provide recommendations to improve accuracy and profitability.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to strengthen inventory controls and reporting.
• Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong inventory and cost accounting experience required.
• Experience supporting multiple entities and intercompany accounting.
• Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory controls.
• ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
